“How do I know you’ll be a good fit for what we need?“

That’s a valid concern! After all, you don’t know me, and I don’t know you. But we can change that! After you submit your info to my contact form, I’ll reach out and we chat over email or video call if you prefer. This way we can get to know each other, I can learn about your vision, and you can better decide if I’d be a good fit for you. If not, no hard feelings!

“What kind of experience do you have?”

I’ve been taking pictures since I was 13 years old, using my parents’ family camera. But I’ve spent the past 7 years shooting professionally part-time, while working towards my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography Studies. I received my BFA in 2022, and since then I’ve been capturing photos and videos as my full-time career and I’m loving it!

“I like your work! How do I book with you?“

Thank you! I’m happy to hear you’re interested in working with me. In most cases, a signed contract and a non-refundable deposit is required upfront to confirm your booking: 30% for weddings and 50% for most other sessions. This is a measure to protect my business, because once I book with you, I won’t be booking any other shoots that day, even if our shoot gets cancelled. “‘Do I need a second shooter for my wedding?”

For photography, it’s up to you. I would highly recommend it, as it means more angles, and more memories captured. For videography, I include a second videographer in all my packages. A second videographer is an absolute must in my opinion. Video is a much more involved process and can take more time to get each shot, so I always bring a second videographer to make sure we capture every memory.

“Who is your second shooter?”

In my years in the industry, I’ve made connections with many very talented individuals in the photography and videography world, all of whom I would trust to shoot my own wedding. Who I select for your wedding will depend on the date and their availability. Once we confirm your booking, I can tell you exactly who I’ll be bringing with me.

“When will I receive my images?“

This depends on the scale of the project. For weddings, standard turnaround time is 6 weeks, and for smaller sessions, turnaround time is 1 week, but rush options are available. The exact times will be outlined in your contract/proposal.
